Louisa Story is a student filmmaker who’s most drawn to the production and post-production aspects, especially editing and camera work. She has experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and enjoys shaping a story through the small details that bring a scene to life. Louisa is inspired by directors such as Wes Anderson, who build creative worlds with a signature style that can be immediately recognized.
Louisa attended the National Student Leadership Conference at UCLA, specializing in film production and screenwriting. She also participated in a Summer Seminar at SCAD, focusing on creative writing and film production. She has also taken History of Film 1, Introduction to Broadcast Media and Video Production, and Broadcast Media and Video Production 2 at her school.
Louisa knows she has a lot to learn and is excited about opportunities to work alongside people who can teach her on the job while letting her contribute in real ways. One day, she hopes to build a career that brings the magic of film to people around the world. Louisa Story is a sophomore in high school with an interest in film and photography, especially storytelling. She’s most drawn to the editing process and can spend hours working on a cut without realizing how much time has passed.
